Fasting Teas are giving me stomach issues - what can I do?

Some people may experience symptoms of digestive upset such as nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, stomachaches, or other digestive issues when drinking our Fasting Teas. Here are 4 tips to help prevent this:

  1. Always sip your tea slowly rather than drinking it quickly. The recommended 12-ounce serving can be enjoyed over a period of 15 to 60 minutes. Pique teas are not like the typical iced teas we are served in restaurants. They are much more concentrated.
  2. Use hot water to brew your tea. This will ensure you slow down and sip the tea, rather than take large gulps.
  3. For best results, drink the Matcha Green during eating windows and Ginger Green during fasting windows. The catechins and caffeine in the Matcha Green Fasting Tea support metabolic function and energy burn. This is why hot green tea is a superior after-meal beverage. Note: be mindful of your caffeine tolerance.
  4. Start slowly (perhaps use only 1/4 to 1/2 a sachet per serving) then slowly increase your intake. A gradual, gentle, and sustainable approach is the key to maximum, long-term health!

If your digestive sensitivities continue, stop drinking the Fasting Teas immediately and contact us at care@piquelife.com to request a full refund or to get recommendations for other teas that may suit your body better!
